Church of S.Marcello
Founded in the 851 and' one of the more' ancient churches of age' longobarda in Capua. Great importance and' his/her northern door where they admire you in the two crowd you, graven embossed, the history of Abramo that sacrifices Isacco; the deeds of Sansone and symbolic animal launchings, among which goats, lions, bucks and men gathered among them. The round arc of the door, surmounted by the eagle, and' decorated of frieze; in the fanlight a well preserved fresco is seen. The church to the origin was to three aisles, and it was' demolished in Norman epoch to lengthen the road over the Church of S.Maria of the Dames Nuns. It was' reconstructed in the first destination' of the 800 assuming the actual conformation to only aisle.
