Church of the Maddalena
The complex of the Maddalena was' founded by Bartholomew of Capua in the epoch of Charles II Of angio', and he/she included the church and the hospital. It was' transformed, from 1451 to 1460, in the convent of the Agostinianis, to which the chiostro.In's construction this church is owed, they had you center the brotherhood of the masons (1487), devoted to S.Giacomo, and the artisans' brotherhood devoted Monica to Saint. Around 1750 the chapels of the families Gianfrotta was restored, of Errico and Lanza, names that apply in the more buildings' important of Capua. With the suppression of the orders the convent is adapted (1812) to barracks that, still today, preserve general Carlo Mezzacapo's name.
